DESCRIPTION
This circuit is from the parking brake switch assembly to the navigation receiver assembly.

1. |
CHECK BRAKE WARNING SWITCH |
(a) Check that the brake warning switch lights come on when the parking brake is applied and goes off when it is released.
OK:
The brake warning lights operate as specified above.

2. |
INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY |
|
(a) Disconnect the A5 parking brake switch assembly connector. |
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

(c) Reconnect the parking brake switch assembly connector.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - PARKING BRAKE SWITCH) |
|
(a) Disconnect the I6 navigation receiver assembly connector. |
(b) Disconnect the A5 parking brake switch assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
